The Chief Justices of Central and Eastern Europe have met for the eighth time

On 27-29 May 2018 the Chief Justices of Central and Eastern Europe had met for the eighth time, this time in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. At the conference, which was organised by the international institute called Central and Eastern European Law Initiative seated in Prague and the Supreme Court of Lithuania, the Chief Justices discussed the possibility of filtering of petitions for review, the reception and implementation of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, the question of judicial independence, and challenges related to the administration of supreme judicial forums. Hungary was represented at the conference by a delegation led by dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia of Hungary.
